Enzo Raiola, Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent, blasts PSG: "A huge lack of respect, which I will assess with my lawyers"

"A four-year-old castle collapsed in ten days," said Enzo Raiola, the agent of Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, in an interview with Sky Sport Italia, shortly after the Italian goalkeeper, already sidelined by the Parisian club, announced his departure from PSG on Tuesday, saying he was "disappointed and bitter."
"The situation lasted a long time because PSG had offered lower terms in the spring, which Gigio had accepted out of respect for the club and the fans ," he initially explained. "However, in March-April, once we had decided to move forward together, the club changed the rules again. So we preferred to talk about it again after the Champions League final."
Before adding: "We spoke again after the Club World Cup, they confirmed the situation, and I replied that Gigio would respect his contract (which runs until 2026) but would not renew it. Then, in the last ten days, PSG changed everything again." The capital club in fact recruited French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (23 years old) last week for nearly €55 million.
"I understand the need to hire a new goalkeeper, but letting Gigio go after everything he has done for the club is a huge lack of respect, which I will evaluate with my lawyers," concluded the Italian agent, specifying that "Gigio's image has been tarnished."
Now, Donnarumma could bounce back in England as Manchester City and the 26-year-old have reached an agreement .
